Pearl Peyote

One day I dropped my sizable collection of Pearls on the floor of the Studio. They went in every direction and took me literally hours to pick up. In the picking, I realized a whole new appreciation for pearls of all sizes and color. Most of the smaller pearls came from a raw silk designer wedding gown, bought for $10.00 in a Second Hand Store. I spent 3 weeks removing the pearls and crystals then recycled the dress to a friends daughter for grad. The necklace above was designed to use those pearls and crystals. I still have boxes and boxes remaining....The base is of course Peyote.
