Weaving a fine pattern with many color combinations is the challenge of working in Native Stitches. It was originally designed with color and pattern in mind and easily translates into modern pieces. I wanted a Vintage feel for this piece and chose the colors to complement the style. It is still based on Peyote but adding a bead every two that allows you to increase and decrease as the pattern warrants. Knitters will appreciate the technique....me....not so much. Since a brain injury years ago, I must rely on my eye alone as counting just simply does not add up.....sigh!!
