Time To say goodby

Last night the winds of winter blew through the valley bringing wonderful rain but taking the flowers, leaves, and smells of late summer. Today I am looking at the aftermath and yes I will need to do fall cleanup. I had hoped summer would last until spring and then all would be back to where it should be....lake, sand, sun. Alas today I will put on my sweats  bake cookies, make Shepherds Pie, light the fire place pilot and spend the day reading my library acquisitions. Fall work???????
