Believe in Angels

GOOD NEWS...... who would have guessed that this day would find us dancing, crying, ...in relief and joy at our good fortune/blessing that has occurred on this day of all days, April 15th. We are evolved enough to know that this day is not in our hands and because our experiences over the years we tend to be less than postive thinkers throughout the month of April. Today it all changed. Today a long dreamed dream has come true and we in the family are very aware a supernatural power had to be involved. I believe it was our special angel, Coco.

But it is not because they are spirits that they are angels. They become angels when they are sent. ~Augustine

18 days to go

As usual April is again a yearly challenge and has been since the end of the gift known as Coco. We have weathered since her death a yearly April test of human spirit. One year after, a near fatal motorcycle accident, which is now the explanation why Organic dude is so weird. The next year OD had a heart attack, the next ER gallbladder surgery, next, Nana's brush with mortality and so on and so on. This year can easily go either way and we must live every second of the rotten month in order to learn the outcome. We, the family have become somewhat reluctant to place bets on April and we are a family with off track betting accounts. Exhausted, cranky, each of us with some pending medical crises looming, home front changes a certainty, and financial obligations building like a Sonomie are drawn closer together than at any other time of the year. It's such a delicate balance which way we will be pulled and we are all very afraid. We comfort each other with treats in the mail and daily calls that everything will be OK. Maybe that's multiple daily calls and I eat most of the treats.................

Remembering this face

The saddest part is that it is getting harder to remember the details.

Proving the sanity of golfers

Speculation regarding the mental stability of Golfers has been rampant for years. April 8th, 2010 proved the hypothesis that Golfers play their game in a state of delusion thusly spending this portion of their life in a state of dementia, unaware of reality or the world around them.

April Challenge Share the love....

But not in a Jesse James, Tiger Woods way. Based upon my belief that many people travel through their day without once feeling a connection with another living person, I will reach out to more than my usual circle of people either with a friendly word, touch, whatever and more then reach out I plan to seek out....SO......if you start to read or hear about an aggressively friendly woman lurking in malls and car washes it possibly could be me.
