Best Newly Wed Christmas Memory

The Dude and I were married in October and had moved into our first home together,a one room basement suite with a bathroom across the basement in the homeowners laundry room.It took a few misfortunate sightings, by unprepared people visiting the Landlord upstairs before I remembered to make sure I had a towel or housecoat before making the dash to the bathroom and shower. We were so proud of our first home together and decided to invite everyone we knew to a Christmas Open House. Recall it is a one room basement suite with tiny kitchen,equally minute Living room with a double bed in the corner. We put up our first tree, good by living room and I cooked my first turkey etc..good by remaining available 5 foot space. Left with the bed and a small sofa now under the Christmas tree and in a John Lennon and Yoko fashion welcomed our friends and family to our little home.The pictures still make me laugh and cry at how crazy happy we were with our perfect place. It was the best of times....
